International Chinese Studies Centre 国际汉学中心

The International Chinese Studies Centre was founded in September 2020 at the Foreign Studies School of Hunan Normal University, Changsha, Hunan, China and is located in the Rising Dragon Building, Office no. 309.
It deals with ancient, premodern, modern and contemporary China in all of her aspects from multiple perspectives. It applies research methods from a variety of humanities and social sciences.

* The Director of the Centre is Martin Woesler, a sinologist who received training at Peking University, Bochum University (M.A., PhD, supervisors: Helmut Martin, Wolfgang Kubin) and at Harvard University (Research Associate/Visiting Scholar, sponsor: Leo Ou-fan Lee 1998-1999, David D. Wang 2010-2011).
